Extreme Engineering
The EUV Challenge, codename 'Laserbox', was designed, built and coded in our office in Amsterdam. The Laserbox consisted of a base and remote part, of which both had a full computer system, based on NodeJS and running on Nvidia Jetsons. The arcade was then shipped to the US and built into a large truck, which was used to visit Universities throughout the US.
ASML’s EUV Challenge gives individuals a taste of what it’s like to be an engineer at ASML. Working in teams, they steer light through an extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machine by adjusting mirrors. The goal? To get the high score – and, in the process, to learn about ASML, lithography and its cutting-edge technology.
